This is THE dirtiest room Ive ever been in. My socks are browned from the carpet in the room. The tub is stained and the whole hotel has a terrible smell that is trying to be covered up by some lemon/citrus scented sanitizer. I wont stay here ever again and I feel cheated because the pictures of the rooms are exceptionally and purposefully misleading. Not to mention the terrible state our room was in. I dare not even try the attached restaurant because I feel their cleaning practices are the same. Very disappointed.
We stayed in one of the 2 queen suites for the weekend. The hotel was quiet. The beds were clean but the carpets could really use a good shampooing and the corners were a little grungy in places. The accommodations fit the price though. Breakfast was good. Who doesn't love fresh made waffles! Location was good too with a Tim Hortons right beside it and a huge shopping plaza across the intersection. The little bar attached to the hotel was pretty good too. Could use some updating and a deep clean but again, it was fitting for the price.
It is what it says it is, simple budget hotel. My room was very good and the staff helpful. There was a bit of a musty smell in the corridor, but not in the room. The air-conditioning was amazing handling 'heat alert' weather and was quiet. I will probably return next year
The parking lot was spacious and it was quite easy to navigate through the building. The washrooms had a weird smell that leaked into the hallways. This could be smelled throughout certain parts of the building. Other than that, it was good.
I get that this is a low priced motel but room service did not make up the beds and removed used towels without replacing them. The included buffet breakfast was one of the worst I have experienced. You get what you pay for, I guess, but even a low cost motel should be able to do better than this.
