Old fashioned Relais and Chateaux property set in beautiful countryside. Main building is very elegant, with a great (although catastrophically expensive) restaurant. Rooms are well-appointed and modern, although the ones in the surrounding complexes feel a little isolated, and the public areas remind me of a Club Med. Swimming pool is fantastic, with lots of areas to sit and enjoy a drink while watching the kids. Wedding facilities are top notch, definitely recommended for wealthy couples. Service is generally very good, although they seem to hire a cadre of surly local teenagers during the summer months which brings the level down somewhat. Still, a solid choice for a weekend getaway.
We had our wedding there on October 5, 2018. It was amazing. We love the food. Our guests enjoyed it a lot. Tiffany the coordinator has been very helpful as well. We love everything there.
Where should I start? Its a 5 star dining experience that isnt just a dinner. You must know that its a 2.5 hour meal. Its slow but thats as it should be. The dining room is beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous (and hopefully your date is too!) no need to rush! Gosh, we had this incredible scallop that smoked, a garlic soup that I resisted licking the bowl, cured salmon, asparagus risotto and beef loin. I dont think I want to eat any other beef that beef cheek again The service was mind blowing - you are made to feel very special. I would highly recommend going for a special occasion but also if you just want a unique dining experience. Dont hesitate, go!
I've attended to friends wedding at this place. Before i talk about the inside of the place, i have to give props to attention to detail including outside. The road quality driving into the place is super smooth and high quality pavement. Honestly I've not seen such a good quality road pavement in Toronto. The wedding ceremony take place at the outdoor but with roof top. Place is very clean and feels warm. Definitely a memorable place to have a wedding in. Food quality is good, and the staff are very helpful. According to the groom, the management had been very helpful and flexible to make the wedding go smoothly. Definitely one of the best wedding I've been to.
This is an amazing SPA. The location and the spa are amazing. However, I feel very differently about the staff. I paid a lot of money for a relaxing day that turned into a very awkward and uncomfortable experience. Reem was very unprofessional considering we were strangers and I didn't need to hear about her sex life for my entire spa visit. She also disclosed to me how she was having a relationship with a married man. Not sure if she thought I would sympathize for her as the other woman but I felt this was very immoral and wrong. Staff should have been better directed to keep their personal lives separate from their business.
