Coin machine often takes your money. No way to contact anyone to get it back. Facility is often covered in garbage. Today there were black barefoot prints on the floor. Washrooms are locked. No one maintains this place.
If I could give it no stars I would. Machine wasn’t working I put my money in and it wouldn’t even turn it wasn’t working and it didn’t have a sign on the door. I called and no one answered I would like to get my money back! And also floors are very dirty and bathroom is dosgusting and most of the time just locked so customers can’t wasn’t their hands or anything. Dryers are always ripping my clothes and the washer has mold in the top ! And just put it in another dryer put more money in and it isn’t even dry because the machine isn’t producing heat
Disappointed - Visited on a Monday, multiple machines out of order/ not working and some machines don’t have signs displayed- another customer paid through the app and the machine was not working and had no sign to indicate this. Change machine not working. No sign to indicate this so customers can plan accordingly. It’s a coin operated laundromat the change machine needs to be in working order. Garbage over flowing. After a busy weekend I would assume cleaning up for the week ahead would be a priority. Curious to know how often this is space is being maintained and checked for working order of the machines in a weeks time frame.
Southwood Coin Laundry is an excellent laundromat! The place is very clean and quiet, making it a comfortable spot to do laundry. The staff is friendly and helpful. They offer machines in different sizes to suit any load, which is really convenient. There’s a soap vending machine on-site, and the change machines work well. One of the best features is the online payment option available on the machines — something you don’t often find at other laundromats. Highly recommend!
We started to become regulars here, but the summer heat started and it was always so hot! I’m not sure if they have air conditioning but it definitely isn’t on! And the bathroom is always out of service and some machines do not take your coins ! We had to switch places to an air conditioned location with a functional bathroom!
The ownership here is fantastic- any time there's an issue I've ever had- an email to the address provided there gets an instant response. I recently was there right to closing time and my clothes were not yet completed their drying cycle. A quick email was met with a friendly response and the owners permission to let me stay a little later to finish folding. I will be a customer here for a long, long time.
We moved to Cambridge a few months ago. I would say this is the best laundry service in the city. Very clean place. Best thing is they use soft water. We will always go there until we are in this city.
