I drove 25 min at Tuesday around 4:30 pm, the door is locked and says will return by 5:15 pm. No one is answering the phone either. I was hoping to try the take out food but I do not want to wait 45 min. Please list accurate timings online or atleast answer the phone. This is very unprofessional My response to your response: Im a mother of 2 small children, I am new to the area, I simply wanted to avoid driving to Brampton or Mississauga for hot food. I dont have a job, how fortunate you had an interview as I am struggling. I wanted to support a local business, I recently went to Vishnu's and my children enjoyed it. I treat them with food like this instead of fast food. I dont have the ability to have them wait in the cold for you to return. You don't have it online that there is no take out, you don't have a voicemail message on to indicate no one is there. I left a bad review as a frustrated, fixed income mother. Here I've put 5 stars now for you even though you don't deserve it by what you have written about me. Shame on you
"UPDATE" How about you adjust your hours of operation on Google so that when it says open and your not there people wont waste time traveling to eat your food, which is supporting your business FYI.
I’m a HUGE sucker for home food but very rare I find really good “come back again” places…. I must say this HIT THE SPOT!!! I’m usually not a “review” person but this bake & buljol definitely deserves it! Soft and crispy bake and perfectly seasoned salt fish! Thoroughly satisfied!
I have been going to this store since it opened about three years ago. It is always well stocked with items from the Caribbean. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. On entering, one immediately notices just how clean and tidy the shelves are and the store in general. I really like the hot takeout food, that is cooked on the premises and available on weekends. I have often bought doubles, Roti and Curry Chicken as a Saturday dinner. It is very convenient to order and pickup 1/2 dozen or so rotis to have with my own home cooked curry for Sunday dinner. I am very pleased that we have a local store like this right here in Cambridge.
So amazing , the service here is beyond expectional . On weekends they cook lunch . I order curry chicken , jerk chicken and a side of curry potatoes . So good second time eating here . My husband even at the whole jerk chicken and didn't complain ( he's jamaican, very picky ) Great amount of things there and If he doesn't have something he'll try to get it . Now we don't have to drive to kitchener to get jamaican items
Always has good stock and selections for Caribbean groceries without having to travel to the GTA. Ravi and team are great. If there's something that you want and it is not offered, they're really good at getting it in for you. Fresh produce and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
