Nice small desi store with a good selection. The meat area looked clean, and I picked up some sabzi that appeared fresh. However, be careful with the ready-to-eat snacks at the front. I was told the khaman was fresh, but when I got home it was very stale and ended up going in the trash. Hopefully just a one-off, but something to watch out for.
If you're in Cambridge and looking for Indian groceries, you have to check out Baba Bazar. This place is a fantastic one-stop shop. They have an incredible inventory of Indian groceries seriously, they seem to have everything you could possibly need. It's so convenient to find all your specialty items here. The best part, and what was a great surprise for me, is the Halal meat shop right inside! It's so comfortable and convenient to be able to get all my meat and groceries in the same trip.
This place a good stop shop for the Pakistani groceries specially spices and halal meat. However, it’s odd that they charge extra when paying with a card.
Went to Al Madina Halal Meat and the service was terrible and the meat quality....its expensive and you cannot trust what employees are charging you...dont waste your time or money
I found this store when I recently moved to the area and they have to exclusive product that I did not find anywhere else. They have huge selection of Indian grocery and other products that you dnt miss any other store. The staff is very kind and friendly as well. They offered me water when I came rushing in the store in a hurry. I would never go anywhere else. Thank you!
Always fresh, great variety, and friendly staff. No matter how busy they are, they make sure to greet and welcome you. This little gem is jam-packed with all sorts of ethnic foodstuffs, spices, treats, and freshly made samosa's! (while they last!)? **Support independant, local grocers!**
It’s an ok, grocery store/ meat shop, the guy at the grocery side seem to be ok does not engage with any customers but he is helpful. The meat shop, I think they take forever with your order and even with no customers, you end up waiting for 10-15 minutes just for the guy to take your order. I only go there when I have no other options. Meat area In my opinion could be clearer, really dirty walls and sink, hopefully no one gets sick But again my standards are high, you may find it different.
