Paul is the worst employee at this location, deal with anyone else but him. The guy doesn't know really anything at all and is always to quick to say no. He can't and won't look anything up unless you already have a part number. Get that guy out of there, he's absolutely useless.
I don't do a lot of my own work on vehicles anymore, but for all the smaller things this is my go-to spot. There is always someone at the counter who will search for my part in their inventory for me and have it brought to the counter. I am not into using a small LCD screen to see if my part is available before searching for it on my own.
Had an excellent experience here with Adam. I called probably 5 times as my needs grew while researching the work I needed to do on my car. Always polite and items that needed to be shipped arrived the next day! Call early as if they need to order something they send their orders in at 3 or 3:30. Just check to make sure. They beat Canadian Tire’s time for order completion even though all the items there were in stock. I would say, it’s best to find out everything you need for your job before you start ordering. I was probably a pain in the you know what and it won’t happen again. Sorry Adam and thanks for dealing with me again and again and again yesterday. ?
I walked in on a Friday night at 6pm with 2 young kids in tow. Napa had the part I found out last minute I needed for this ancient vehicle, but it would be a bit to get because it was in the warehouse. Ok, I thought, I have 2 BUSY kids with me this is NOT the store I want to have them waiting around in, I guess we'll see how this goes...the wait was a little longer than anticipated, however, the staff there made all the difference for the duration of our wait. The staff engaged my kids, chatted with them and picked their brains, let them check out all sorts of stuff in the store and just allowed them to be curious kids without getting frustrated that they were ALL OVER, and were even kind enough to give them a couple hats! The team at Napa went above and beyond. Thank you!! I've had 2 experiences with Napa stores recently, and WOW, the service I've received at both locations told me this; the company has invested in their employees and their customer service training big time (well done!).
Ordered part over phone. They said they would hold it for. They close st 5,:30. So went to pick up on Saturday. Some of us work longer than that What do they do. Send it back to Toronto. I even offered credi card. Not even a phone call from them. Not good business in my books.
Worth the drive to get exactly what you need from friendly knowledgeable staff. I've had to take a taxi to exchange the incorrect parts supplied by their competition for a diy. auto repair.
Really helpful staff, great knowledge when it comes to vehicles. I usually deal with Justin when I am there. He has always been super helpful and really knows his stuff.
