The driver was very nice during the delivery and was quick and polite. He asked about getting out and seemed worried about making our loop to get out. He asked me to move a truck of one of our employees, which I could not as I didn't have the keys to do so to make more room. I went inside after the delivery was made and watched from the window as he tried to go around our loop but could not I guess and decided to back up all the way down our driveway. I was shocked he was going to reverse all the way down our 600 foot windy driveway and it took him 30 mins to get to the end of the roadway. As it was a lot of forward, and backwards, it reminded me of the Austin Powers movie and I laughed. Later I went out to discover that at the end of our loop, we have a retaining wall holding in our raised garden and it was damaged and further up he came off our driveway and ripped up our grass. Now here is where I was shocked that he did not come back to the house and said he damaged our property. I let my husband know and we reported the claim to the company and we have cameras facing our shop and had a part video showing him struggling to get down the driveway but due to the fact that we don't have cameras facing our gardens and did not have the proof the driver hit the wall they dismissed it. They didn't even come out to see the wall or how are driveway was, they just told us it was up to us to prove it. My kids walk along the wall every day to go to school it was not damaged that morning and no one else came in that day. The funny thing is had he come to us as soon as it happened, we probably would have been that is okay but he is now denying it. We are very disappointed in the claims department and how dismissive they were. We all can't have cameras everywhere to give them the proof they need. Just very disappointed all around.

I recently called to complain about a dangerous driver operating a Manitoulin tractor trailer. Without evasive action on my part, my son and I would have been seriously hurt, or worse, killed.
Very professional team, helped me crossed docked a reefer from Vancouver to Ontario when it is extremely difficult to find anything truck at all. The team followed and updated the status throughout the whole process.
