Great little gem of a store. The staff are wonderful and generous and helpful. They donated a wagon to my 9 year old nephew who has cancer and was too week to walk to trick or treat at Halloween. They are the undeniably that neighborhood store where people remember your name and are a integral part of fabric of the community. The staff are very informative and eager to help you get the right items to complete your project well. There are some excellent gifts and home decor here as well. Make the stop and see what you have been missing ! :)
I went in to price out glue guns as well as to see if they have the toilot seat I was looking for.I hadn't been in for years because the last time the men working there talked down to me like i was an idiot for buying plumbing supplies.I was just so fixing my sink .Well with two women in the store I thought it would be different, it was not .I know what kind of toilet seat i needed .Due to how odd shaped it was i have had a hard time finding one .I have been single most my life and i fix everyhting on my own yet not only was I questioned twice if I was wrong what one I needed ,I was spoken too as though the woman knew i had the wrong one and informed me i can not bring it back if its been opened .The prices are as high as always for home hardware and even though the front of the store was clean the back had boxes cutting off isles. I would rather take the trip to a bigger box store .I literally have been treated like that at every home hardware its as if snarky and talking down to customers is in the training .I took plumbing and electrical classes ,I welded for years, I am literally one of the people almost everyone i know calls when something needs fixed .yet this store seems to think I can't know what toilot seat i need .I really hate being spoken down to like that .
They have the nicest and most helpful staff.
Liquor store, beer store, shoppers, Sobey's, Tim's, etc....what else do you need?
Went to Magic Cuts and I was in and out in great time. I then did a little shopping at Sobeys. Great outing.
