What an absolute trash bin... I had been craving some A&W for about a week and I finally made the right connection of time and location only for their self serve kiosks to be operating on 2gb of RAM. I, for some reason got my order (which was 2 full meals) ahead of 2 other people and quite frankly they probably should have kept it. There was honestly about ⅓ of a cup of mayo on my burger, they threw the lettuce on so sloppily that half wasn't even on the burger, the 2 pieces of bacon were just carelessly placed on top of each other and the cheese was thrown on with great dismay, 2 slices which were folded in half over the bacon stack, NOWHERE NEAR melted. The burger tasted so damn poorly that I barely got through half before I gagged on it. I had ordered poutine, they didn't give me a fork, when I asked for a fork they questioned why I needed one, then proceeded to say "I'm not sure if we have forks"..... Like REALLY?????? This was by far the WORST experience I've ever had at A&W and them being so expensive, I definitely expect better from them in EVERY area.
So at first this buddy at the cash register butchered my name as I spelled it out for him… D-I-M-A, so he puts Demon… I’m a religious person and when I asked him if he thinks that’s okay, he just laughed in my face… But that wasn’t the end… with that order I ordered and paid for extra bacon, so they added ONE STRIP OF BACON!!! When I went to ask him WTH and if he thought it was okay to do that, he just answered with a smug face that it is… all the pictures are attached The worst service ever!!! Horrible people with no understanding of human decency and any skills in service jobs!!! Can’t describe the fury and outrage I feel right now!!!
I had a great experience at A&W! Bhavna and her co-worker were very friendly and kind, which made the visit even better. They did an excellent job, the service was quick, and the food was fresh and tasty. Really appreciated their warm nature
The customer service is very very very very bad. If you need your business growing you have to Cheng the staff your staff is bad but the food is delicious.
Overall not a good experience. Food was very greasy, they let it sit in the warmer for 5mins. If you’re hard of hearing, don’t visit this place you will not understand their English. The food tasted like a deep fryer
Honestly the worst A&W I have ever been to. My wife and I ordered the Canadian breakfast, as I opened the lid I noticed that the eggs were almost raw. My wife returned them and asked if they could cook them more. They gave her the eggs back exactly the same. We could not eat them unfortunately. Our toast had some strange orange stuff on the edges where the knife had cut them in half. It was very very spicy we could not eat that as well. To top it all off the tomatoes tasted awful, I suspect they were rotten. We were not able to eat them as well.
I experienced a disappointing incident during my visit to this establishment while ordering my usual classic breakfast with a customization. Although I understand that customizations can be challenging, this has been my daily routine. Unfortunately, someone named Sara from the kitchen, who appeared to be a supervisor, intervened rudely, insisting that I couldn't have the customization. Despite my attempts to explain and willingness to pay for any additional charges, she was unhelpful. I ended up paying for a meal that wasn't what I ordered, leaving me with an embarrassing memory. This was an unprecedented experience for me at my favorite franchise, and I feel sorry for the front-end staff who remained polite throughout. It's disheartening to provide a review like this for a place I usually enjoy.
